For me, the most important things in a creation are those that cannot be squeezed into words or delineated by a straight, continuous line. My painted motifs reflect the meaningful search for the absence of time or the eternal, striving to find a universal language through the impacts of sign, symbol and colour on human feelings. Pictures for me are like a vacuum – a space that can be filled only by a spectator.
By recreating information that has ploughed deeply into the archives of my memory, I create my own mythology, a reality, which is like a myth that accommodates the weight of culture and is independent of any specific moment in time.
The creative project is important to me not only for its result, but more as my own act of faith, by hoping to find a companion to talk treating my painting as natural, non-verbal language.
