Algis Griškevičius
Algis Griškevičius was born in 1954 in Vilnius. He graduated from the Lithuanian State Art Institute (now Vilnius Academy of Arts) in 1985. Algis worked as an assistant artist at the Vilnius Opera and Ballet Theatre in 1976-1980 and senior scene-painter at the Vilnius Youth Theatre in 1980-1990. He joined the Lithu anian Artists’ Association in 1988. The artist has been exhibiting his works since 1986. Girškevičius has had 45 solo shows and participated in more than 80 group exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad.
