Amilcar Rivera M
Amílcar Rivera Munive (b. 1975, Mexico City) is a visual artist and graduate of the University of Veracruz. With a background in literature (SOGEM, EICTV Cuba) and photography (Escuela Activa de Fotografía), his multidisciplinary approach is shaped by experiences living in various countries. His works, which explore characters and scenes inspired by his surroundings and material experimentation, have been exhibited internationally in Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, the United States, Germany, Spain, Mexico, and Lithuania, where he currently resides.
In 2019, he founded Munive Arte Contemporáneo in Tlaxcala, Mexico. His works are included in the collection of the Museum of Art in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and private collections worldwide. Rivera Munive’s first solo show in Europe will open at Contour Art Gallery, Vilnius, in May 2025.
